Anton du Preez as Vice President, Auditing and SEMS

SEMPCheck Services, the leading provider of regulatory compliancemanagement systems for the energy industry, has appointed Anton du Preez Vice President, Auditing and SEMS. With more than twenty years experience, du Preez joins the existing SEMPCheck Services experienced team.

Reflecting du Preez's extensive training and experience is his Doctorate of Science in Safety Management, as well as degrees in Business Management and Electronics Engineering. du Preez will be directly responsible for the development of SEMPCheck's SEMS (Safety and Environmental Management System) program, recently mandated by the US Government’s Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Resources and Enforcement (BOEMRE). Under the program’s requirements, energy companies operating in offshore US waters are required to extensively document safety policies, procedures, environmental contingency plans, operator qualifications and training records.
